We follow EYFS framework (British curriculum) in our nursery for children from 45 days to age 5. At Giggles and More Nursery, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to nurture each child’s unique potential from the very beginning. Rooted in the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we focus on learning through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. Our approach ensures that every child — from babies as young as 45 days to those in Foundation Stage (FS2) — feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn at their own pace.

Across every age group, our educators observe, support, and extend learning through play-based, hands-on activities that reflect each child’s interests and developmental needs. We also promote the Characteristics of Effective Learning — Playing and Exploring, Active Learning, and Creating and Thinking Critically — helping children become confident, curious thinkers who love to learn. Our curriculum not only prepares children academically but also nurtures emotional intelligence, social awareness, and a strong sense of belonging.

The EYFS framework underpins learning into seven areas, divided into two groups:

Prime Areas (Essential for Future Learning):

• - Communication and Language – Listening, attention, understanding, and speaking.
• - Physical Development – Moving and handling, health, and self-care.
• - Personal, Social, and Emotional Development (PSED) – Making relationships, self-confidence, managing feelings.
